Christian Eriksen thinks Manchester United should not worry about Manchester City winning a possible treble this season because his side has the opportunity to deny it by winning the FA Cup themselves.
United have already won the Carabao Cup this season and Erik ten Hag will be hoping to claim another piece of silverware in his debut season at Old Trafford by winning the FA Cup, but rivals City will stand in the way of that.
The FA Cup final at Wembley on June 3 will see a Manchester derby for the first time in the competition's history and the game also has greater importance, as it could provide City with the second leg of a possible treble season.

Pep Guardiola's side are favourites to win the Premier League and they could be champions by the time of the FA Cup final. City would then need to defeat United and also win the Champions League a week later to complete the treble.
Eriksen, speaking at Laureus Sports Awards in Paris this week, was asked about the possibility of City winning the treble.
He was composed with his response and he insisted it doesn't matter what City win, providing United win the FA Cup.
"First they [City] need to win the two other ones which are not in our hands," Eriksen told The Telegraph. "But I'm sure we will do what we can. So if we will get our trophy, then it doesn't matter what they get."
Eriksen also reflected on his move to United last summer and he admitted it was 'difficult' to turn down Brentford's offer.
"Yeah, it was difficult. I had a very good time there, and I will always be grateful to Brentford and Thomas Frank for giving me the chance to come back and be their footballer," he added.
"But also, I told Thomas from the start that if something more exciting comes that I could see myself at a top level that I would go for it. And for me, luckily United came in and that was really it."
