Erik ten Hag reiterated Manchester United are still looking to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window.
United are on the verge of completing the loan signing of goalkeeper Jack Butland from Crystal Palace but their priority is a new goalscorer to offset the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Having passed on the chance to sign Cody Gakpo before his move to Liverpool, United have been linked with Memphis Depay and Joao Felix, among other forwards.

"We always have to look for that as we push the players," Ten Hag said, regarding the winter window. "Because good is not good enough.
"Also in an organisation we have to push each other and when there are opportunities in the top you always have to be ready for that.
"But my main focus is to get a better team, to improve the team."
Ten Hag currently only has six forwards to select from, with Jadon Sancho still unavailable as he continues to train away from the first-team squad.
Marcus Rashford is United's top scorer on 12 goals with Anthony Martial on five but the Frenchman has missed 13 weeks of the season through hamstring, Achilles and back injuries.
Alejandro Garnacho has broken into the senior squad and scored winners at Real Sociedad and Fulham but the £85.51million signing Antony has not scored since October 9.
Everton are interested in signing Anthony Elanga, without a club goal since equalising against Atletico Madrid on February 22. Uruguay international Facundo Pellistri is yet to make his United debut more than two years on from his arrival.
