Manchester United have made an offer for former Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen if recent reports are to be believed.
Eriksen made a heroic return to the Premier League in January, less than seven months after suffering a cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark during last summer's European Championships. The creative midfielder decided to sign for Thomas Frank's side on a six-month contract, enjoying a productive few months as he netted one goal and provided a further four assists in just ten starts.
However, his deal with the Bees is set to expire at the end of the month and The Athletic have now reported that United have made an offer to sign the former Ajax playmaker. It currently remains to be seen whether or not the 30-year-old would opt to join the Red Devils considering he would like to remain in London, as per football.london 's Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold.

football.london understands that Spurs have indeed discussed a return for Eriksen, with his history both at the club and with Conte and the bargain nature of a deal ticking a lot of boxes. Speaking about a potential move in a recent Q&A, Gold said: "As for Eriksen, it's all down to him really and whether he feels loyalty to Brentford for taking that chance on him or that the pull of Spurs, Conte and the Champions League is stronger.
"There will be other interested parties although I understand he would like to remain in London." The experienced maestro made 304 appearances for the Lillywhites between 2013-2020, scoring 69 goals and providing a further 90 assists.
