Manchester United are considering signing Newcastle United target Christian Pulisic on loan from Chelsea, according to The Athletic.
Newcastle, Juventus and Atletico Madrid have all made approaches for the United States captain, who has been frustrated with his lack of starts under Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.
The 23-year-old wants to play more minutes ahead of the 2022 World Cup this winter and Chronicle Live understands that Chelsea are open to allowing Pulisic to leave before the end of the transfer window.
The Athletic's report added that Pulisic would prefer a move to Man United, who are considering an approach.
The Magpies have asked Chelsea about the availability of the winger, as well as his fellow Blues' teammates Conor Gallagher and Callum Hudson-Odoi. Newcastle have also been linked with Armando Broja this summer, although the Telegraph claim Newcastle will only be able to sign one Chelsea player on loan due to 'strict budget constraints' imposed on manager Eddie Howe.
Newcastle want Pulisic because of his versatility across the front three, which is something that also appeals to Man United, who have spoken about signing Pulisic before he joined Chelsea.
