Joao Felix, who has been linked with a potential Manchester United switch, reportedly wants to leave Atletico Madrid in January. United were rumoured to have made a £113m bid for the Portugal international over the summer and saw it rejected.
Erik ten Hag will be looking for a long-term striker before long with Cristiano Ronaldo's contract expiring in the summer. Felix is goalless in 11 outings this season and is said to be disgruntled with boss Diego Simeone. In fact, A Bola says their relationship is 'beyond repair', and that the player wants to exit in January.
The report says this decision has been reached after Felix was left on the bench in Atletico's goalless draw with Club Brugge in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Algemeen Dagblad reports Erik ten Hag sent a text to try to convince Brian Brobbey to join United before he sealed a return to Ajax after a successful loan spell.
The 20-year-old was sold to RB Leipzig in 2021 after breaking through the youth ranks under Ten Hag at Ajax. The report says his ex-boss wanted to lure him to Old Trafford but the youngster’s mind was already made up by the time he contacted him.
He was offered the chance to become the main striker at Ajax - something that would not have been the case at United. He has netted four times for the Dutch side this season, also providing three assists.
