Liverpool have been regularly linked with an interest in signing Mason Mount in recent weeks, but now Manchester United have joined the race for the midfielder, according to reports.
Chelsea have been attempting to tie Mount down to a new long-term contract, but have failed so far due to his wage demands of wanting to have parity with the top earners at the club.
Jurgen Klopp, and now Erik ten Hag, are said to be keeping a close eye on the situation of the England international and both could swoop in the summer as Mount enters the final year of his contract.

ESPN have reported that Mount has seen the huge lengths of contract Chelsea are giving out to their new signings and he doesn't want to have to do the same.
Talks will continue with the summer coming around fast, but it was reported earlier in the week that figures at Stamford Bridge are becoming 'resigned' to losing the midfielder.
Mount is reportedly open to joining a Premier League club despite his long affiliation with Chelsea, which could fall in line with Klopp as he looks to rebuild his midfield at Anfield.
