Manchester United are in hot pursuit of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who is also on the radar of Arsenal and Liverpool, according to reports.
The attacker has netted 17 times in 29 matches this season and has been linked with an exit from Italy despite having more than three years left on his deal. Since joining from Lille in September 2020, Osimhen has averaged almost a goal every other game.
The Mirror reports that United have now joined the race for the Nigerian, who is said to be valued at around £80million. The report claims that the player’s agents are pushing for a Premier League move with Napoli seemingly resigned to losing him.

Osimhen has made it clear, though, he will only leave Serie A for another Champions League club, with Napoli on course for qualification for next season’s competition. Since returning from a facial injury that kept him out of the Africa Cup of Nations, the forward has gone from strength to strength, netting seven times in his last ten outings.
Meanwhile, ESPN reports that Juventus and AC Milan are interested in a swoop for Jesse Lingard. The midfielder is poised to leave Old Trafford this summer when his contract expires after limited game time in recent years.
Monday’s game with Brentford is expected to be his final game at the Theatre of Dreams with more than 200 appearances to his name. Lingard will be looking to make a late push for Gareth Southgate’s England World Cup squad with his new club, whoever that may be.
