Midfielder Bruno Fernandes admits he doesn't deserve to wear a Manchester United shirt after a harrowing Saturday night defeat.
United went down 4-0 at Brighton with Moises Caicedo opening the scoring before a second half flurry saw Marc Cucurella, Pascal Gross and Leandro Trossard pile on the agony in 11 shocking minutes.
It deals United one final blow in the race for the Champions League as they remain sixth in the Premier League, out of reach of 4th-placed Arsenal and potentially moving further behind Tottenham.
Boss Ralf Rangnick insisted his players were undeserving of the shirt in his post-match interview.
And when Portuguese star Fernandes was summoned to give his thoughts, he agreed with the manager's assessment and said he fits the bill..
"No, I include myself in that," he told Sky Sports.
"What we did today, and I thought myself what I did today was not good enough to be in a Manchester United shirt.
"And I accept it."
