Manchester United injury news and predicted XI for Leeds United Premier League clash

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will be without six first-team players for his side's trip to Elland Road to take on Leeds United on Sunday afternoon.

The two rivals, having played out a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, will face each other once again this weekend. Man United travel to Leeds as they look to prevent the Whites' from breaking their winless run in the Premier League.

Co-caretaker boss Michael Skubala however will be hoping Leeds can record their first victory in the top flight since November when they come up against their bitter rivals. Both sides come into the match with injury problems, but Man United may just be worse off than their opponents this weekend.

Casemiro will serve the second of this three-match ban and Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also a doubt with illness. Beyond those two, Antony, Christian Eriksen, Anthony Martial, Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek are all unavailable due to injury.

We have looked at the latest injury news facing the Red Devils and the likely starting XI that Ten Hag will opt for.

Antony

Injury: Leg

What Ten Hag has said: "I don't expect [Antony, Martial and McTominay to feature], but we have some days. Will they be back against Barcelona? Same answer. I can't say 100 per cent, but I don't expect it."

Christian Eriksen

Injury: Ankle

A statement from the club read: "While investigations are continuing, initial assessments indicate Eriksen is likely to be out until late April or early May. Eriksen's absence will be a big disappointment to manager Erik ten Hag and fans given the consistency of his performances throughout the season so far."

Anthony Martial

Injury: Hip

What Ten Hag has said: "At the minute, it is his hip. He is not always available, but also I see the other side when he is available. He was never 100 per cent this season, but he had a big impact every time he is available, even when he is at 80, 85, 90 per cent."

Scott McTominay

Injury: Unspecified

What Ten Hag has said: "He is not available for the coming week, two weeks, maybe even longer."

Donny van de Beek

Injury: Knee

What Ten Hag has said: "Of course, the bad news is that he is out for the rest of the season, but the good news is, in the longer-term, his knee will be okay and he will be ready again to play at the highest levels and will be ready for the start of pre-season."

Predicted Man United XI to face Leeds: De Gea; Dalot, Martinez, Varane, Shaw; Fred, Sabitzer, Fernandes; Sancho, Rashford Weghorst.
