Manchester United have been charged with allegedly failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion against Chelsea. The incident in question being the Red Devils' reaction to Chelsea being awarded a penalty after Scott McTominay hauled down Armando Broja in their box.

Jorginho went on to score the resultant spot kick before Erik ten Hag's side managed to comeback in stoppage time thanks to Casemiro's header past Kepa Arrizabalaga. United have been charged with breaching FA Rule E20.1 in the 84th minute of the match at Stamford Bridge. They will have until Friday to provide a response.

Manchester United's players were incredulous that the penalty had been awarded and surrounded referee Stuart Attwell in the aftermath. Fred was the lone player to receive a yellow card for his role in the situation.
