Manchester United ‘hint’ at Cristiano Ronaldo future in leaked tour advert

An advert for Manchester United's summer tour featuring Cristiano Ronaldo has been leaked. But despite the suggestion that it could hint at the superstar's plans to remain with the Reds next season, some are not convinced.

The club are set to tour Australia in pre-season and one fan has supposedly ‘leaked’ the promotion banner for their summer trip. The advert shows photographs of Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Alex Telles wearing this season’s home strip.

There has been speculation that Ronaldo may leave Old Trafford upon the arrival of Erik ten Hag, despite signing a two-year deal in August. Initial rumours had claimed he may be leaving due to the absence of Champions League football next season.

But many deemed United ’s top scorer to be gesturing that he was staying when celebrating his goal in Monday’s 3-0 win over Brentford. The superstar pointed to himself and then to the pitch before hitting his ‘Siu’ pose.

After the game, Ronaldo was seen commenting into a TV camera that was following him around during United’s lap of honour after their final game of the season at Old Trafford. Some thought he said “I’m not finished”, but the striker later refuted these suggestions.

It has now caused several United fans to doubt his future intentions in spite of the supposed recently leaked poster. A number of supporters commented underneath the Reddit post on Friday.

Chippa93: It doesn't mean anything. Ronaldo probably hasn't even made up his mind either way.

Durandpanda: Doesn't mean anything. Ronaldo was featured in the initial ads at the end of 08/09 for the new home kit, and then left.

RiemsMUFC: This means **** all. Bale was plastered all over Times Square in NYC in his Spurs kit and two weeks later he was sold to Real Madrid.

Gzusissus: In case you hadn’t caught on yet, the club’s main focus is marketing. I wouldn’t read to much into it.

Justinhza23: We all know that this means nothing, but nice to be a bit optimistic after a **** season.
