Manchester United hero and Salford City co-owner Paul Scholes has shared a cryptic and X-rated rant about recruitment.
Scholes, 48, spent his entire playing career at Old Trafford where he won the Premier League on 11 occasions, not to mention two Champions League medals. Since hanging up his boots, he has worked as a pundit for BT Sport and other broadcasters.
He also co-owns League Two outfit Salford City along with fellow Class of 92 graduates such as Gary Neville, while Scholes briefly dabbled in lower-league management when he took charge at Oldham Athletic for two months during the 2018/2019 season.

It remains unclear who or what exactly Scholes was ranting about in his X-rated Instagram story, but it was clear to see that something had irked the former United and England midfielder. He has not posted since the cryptic upload, which came shortly before noon on Tuesday morning.
He said: "Here we go again, managers and every other f***** blaming failure on recruitment... I don't see these people complaining when they sign the players, I see nothing but excitement at new players coming through the door.
"Just because you like them as players already it doesn't mean you don't have to improve them as footballers and people. PS... just covering my a*** if @salfordcityfc don't have a successful season!! Laters!!"
Scholes progressed through the famed Academy system at Old Trafford and made 714 appearances for United across the years in all competitions. He has been involved with the Ammies at ownership level since a takeover was pushed through in 2014.
