Manchester United will have to find a way to deal with Manchester City striker Erling Haaland if they want to beat Pep Guardiola's side at the weekend, according to Wes Brown.
Erik ten Hag's men face off against City in the Manchester derby on Sunday afternoon, with the Reds looking for their fifth successive victory in the Premier League after an impressive run of results. United have been much-improved in recent weeks after a nightmare start to the season, and are aiming to inflict a first defeat of the season on City.
Guardiola's side have won five of their opening seven top-flight matches, with frontman Haaland registering 14 goals and one assist in 10 matches in all competitions since his summer move from Borussia Dortmund.

The majority of defences that the Norwegian striker has come up against so far this season have struggled to deal with the 22-year-old. However, former Reds centre-back Brown has suggested that the United players need to 'get tight' to the 'incredible' attacker.
"He’s quick and strong and we’ve seen what he’s been doing with defenders. He’s good in the air and always seems to be in the right position. So you just have to be on him," said Brown, speaking to 888sport.
"Maybe forget about this player and focus on Haaland, get tight on him, but that’s difficult with City because they’ve got so many good players.
"But anyone marking Haaland needs help when he’s making those runs. Can you see it before it happens and cut it out?
"I’ve seen him a few times and he doesn’t have a lot of touches, but when he does it’s usually in the back of the net. He’s on form and you have to respect that."
Haaland has already grabbed two hat-tricks this season, and has only failed to score in one Premier League match. Meanwhile, United have conceded eight goals in their opening six top-flight games.
