Manchester United given wake-up call as Raphael Varane hands Ralf Rangnick further problems

Here are your Manchester United headlines for Tuesday, March 29.

Manchester United are learning new things about their dressing room

Luke Shaw had to clarify his comment but the damage had already been done and the quotes, in full context, reflect unflatteringly on Manchester United.

United excel at going round in circles or coming full circle. "It is always important to feel like you are wanted. I think especially here I always feel that," Shaw told the pitchside reporter Patrick Davison. "I am not saying I don't at United but especially here, the way things are, I feel wanted and I enjoy my football. A big part of football is the enjoyment."

Raphael Varane gives Manchester United problems

There might not be much for United to boast about this season, but there is one crumb of comfort to console themselves with as they head into another pivotal summer that will shape the future of their club.
