Alvaro Fernandez and Alejandro Garnacho have been assigned new squad numbers in Manchester United's pre-season.
Having been appointed United manager in April, new manager Erik ten Hag and his squad reported back for pre-season training on Monday morning and will continue to map out plans for the campaign from this stage onwards.
First-teamers such as David de Gea and Marcus Rashford were among those welcomed back. They are yet to be joined by Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo and other players who were on international duty earlier in June - that contingent of players is due back next week.

As manager Ten Hag and backroom staff cast their eye on established players and promising hopefuls for the first time, academy graduates Fernandez, 19, and Garnacho, 17, formed part of the training group. They were first welcomed to the set-up last season and the latter made his Premier League bow.
Garnacho was handed minutes against Chelsea and Crystal Palace in what was a breakthrough campaign. The Argentina prospect earned his first international call-up and was also a star member of the FA Youth Cup-winning team, scoring twice in the 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest in the final in front of a packed Old Trafford.
Garnacho donned the number 49 in training on Monday after wearing 75 last season, while his teammate, the Spanish left-back Fernandez, was wearing 42 having been assigned 74 last term. There was a time at United when training kit numbers did not directly correspond to squad numbers, but that is no longer the case.
Under-23s goalkeeper Matej Kovar wore a training kit with the number 40 on it, having been assigned the number 51 last season, while other, lower-profile academy players also wore lower numbers.
United are yet to officially confirm their squad numbers and they are subject to change ahead of the start of the new season.
