Ten Hag hails Ronaldo after Sheriff goal
United manager Erik ten Hag believes Cristiano Ronaldo is starting to become more aligned with the way that he wants his team to play after watching him score in Thursday night's 2-0 win over Sheriff Tiraspol.
The Portugal international, who was starting for the second game in succession, netted his first goal of the season to help the Reds post the first victory of their Europa League campaign. He netted a 39th-minute penalty to fire the Reds into a two-goal lead, following Jadon Sancho's opener.

Rashford hints at reason behind England absence
Marcus Rashford has suggested that he would have been included in the latest England squad had it not been for a current muscle injury.
The United academy graduate, along with teammate Sancho, was yesterday left out of Gareth Southgate's squad for the upcoming Nations League fixtures with Italy and Germany. Both players were left out of the squad for the last international break in June and were expected to be recalled.
However, they were both overlooked by Southgate, leaving their World Cup aspirations hanging by a thread. But while Sancho's omission has been made based on performances, it appears that Rashford would have returned to the Three Lions fold had it not been for his current injury problem.
He has missed the last two matches for United, meaning he has been forced to miss out on England's final camp before the World Cup. He took to social media to suggest that he would have otherwise been included.
