Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Diogo Dalot could return to action for Manchester United against Crystal Palace on Saturday, with the defender having recently returned to team training.
Bruno Fernandes revealed earlier this week that Dalot had been back in first-team training after a three-week lay-off. The 23-year-old was forced off with a hamstring strain during the Reds' Carabao Cup quarter-final win over Charlton Athletic in January.
The Portuguese started in 20 of United's first 21 games of the season prior to the World Cup in Qatar, with the only match he missed coming as a result of a suspension. He returned from the World Cup with a hamstring injury - having come off in Portugal's World Cup quarter-final defeat by Morocco in December.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka - who had played four minutes all season prior to the tournament in Qatar - has started in United's last six league games and has impressed at right-back. He will soon face competition for his place in the team again though with Dalot champing at the bit.
''I think he (Dalot) is doing quite well," Ten Hag told club media. "Last couple of days, he has been back in the team training and [if] his training today (Friday) goes well, he can also return to the squad for tomorrow.''
Dalot has made 23 appearances for Ten Hag's side so far his term, registering a goal and an assist. Meanwhile, Wan-Bissaka has featured on 12 occasions, with 11 of his appearances coming after the break in the domestic campaign.
