New Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will face off against Brighton in his first Premier League test on August 7 as another new era begins at Old Trafford.
A dire season under first Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and then interim boss Ralf Rangnick saw the club record their worst ever points total in the Premier League, yet still come away with Europa League qualification.
Ten Hag will be keen to bolster his squad and get off to a strong start and United also face Brentford, Liverpool, Southampton, Leicester, Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Leeds before the first international break. The first Manchester derby of the season will be at the Etihad Stadium on October 1, with the return fixture at Old Trafford on January 14.
United will travel to newly-promoted Fulham before the November pause for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The league season resumes on Boxing Day as United face Nottingham Forest at home, followed by meetings with Wolves and Bournemouth. They finish the season at home to Fulham on May 28.
