Manchester United favourites Ji-sung Park and Antonio Valencia reunited at World Cup draw

Manchester United fan favourites Ji-sung Park and Antonio Valencia caught up at the World Cup draw ahead of the weekend.

United returned to domestic action with a 1-1 draw against Leicester on Saturday evening, but the World Cup draw took centre stage on the Friday before that match. The 2022 World Cup in Qatar will be held later this year in November and December.

England were drawn into Group B with the USA, Iran and either Wales, Scotland or Ukraine - that depends on which team progresses from the play-offs. Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw were United's representatives in the England squad during the March international break and both started against Leicester, in a game in which United were devoid of creativity once again at Old Trafford.

United have struggled this season and no doubt Ji-sung Park and Valencia have been frustrated following the Reds in this campaign.

The pair were at the World Cup draw in Qatar on Friday and they shared a picture of themselves across the weekend.

Both players enjoyed trophy-laden years at Old Trafford before leaving the club firmly established as fan favourites. Ji-sung Park played an instrumental role in Sir Alex Ferguson's final years and he played alongside Valencia for three seasons.

The midfielder won four Premier League titles, the Champions League, three League Cups and the Club World Cup with United.

Valencia won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, two League Cups and the Europa League in his own decade in Manchester.
