Manchester United fans have been giving their reaction after Jesse Lingard completing his move to Nottingham Forest.
Lingard has joined Forest on a free transfer after his contract at Old Trafford expired. The England international had been at boyhood club United for 22 years and made more than 230 senior appearances, scoring 35 goals.
However, he was restricted to only four starts for the Red Devils last season, and is now taking up a fresh challenge at the City Ground. He is the 11th signing made so far as Forest prepare for their first season in the top flight in 23 years.

Lingard will link up at Forest with former Red Devils team-mate Dean Henderson, who joined on loan earlier this month. The playmaker says he cannot wait to get going as he enters a "new chapter".
The United faithful appear to have mixed feelings on the matter. Here's how some of them reacted on social media...
@Iam_YOBENZ: Congratulations Jesse Lingard.
@EllisV3: I don’t get how any Manchester United fan could hate on Lingard. I hope he smashes it at Nottingham Forest.
@Samuel58460224: Very happy for Jesse Lingard.
@cecilk_mufc: I feel bad for Lingard in a way, United demanded stupid prices for him when West Ham and Newcastle came calling. £20million was there on a plate for Man United and instead they got nothing and wasted a year of someone’s life.
@mizodgreat: I'm so happy for Lingard. The only United player who I honestly want to excel in his career.
@Paynekila: Players like Jesse Lingard were demanding heaven and earth from Manchester United but ended up signing a one-year deal with Forest.
@GavBpowers: Lingard signing for Forest says everything you need to know about him. Glad he’s gone from United.
@mufc_dan87: Good riddance to him, never good enough for United.
@MoshinShafi91: Lingard joining Nottingham Forest is funny. Thought he was above United… thinking he'll leave and join a club fighting for European spots. But he'll end up (probably) fighting relegation.
@amnimf: So there's no more Lingard in Manchester United. It's too good to be true.
