Manchester United fans stunned after Fred scores wonder goal in first half demolition of Liverpool

Manchester United are enjoying an excellent start to life under new manager Erik ten Hag, racing into a 3-0 lead against Liverpool with less than 35 minutes on the clock.

Following Jadon Sancho's early opener, United increased their tally with a quick-fire double from Fred and Anthony Martial either side of the half-hour mark. The Reds, despite calling upon goalkeeper David de Gea to thwart the ever dangerous Luis Diaz, came flying out of the traps against a youthful Liverpool side.

While Sancho's finish was not to be sniffed at, Fred's was outstanding. The Brazilian, from outside the box, pounced on a loose ball and chipped the ball over a helpless Alisson on his weaker right foot to put the Reds 2-0 up.
