Manchester United supporters are divided on the latest reports surrounding Mason Mount's potential summer move to Old Trafford.
The Athletic claim that the England international's preference - should he fail to negotiate a new Chelsea contract - is to join Erik ten Hag's side. The Dutchman's priority is to sign a striker in the upcoming transfer window, but midfield is seemingly another area United are keen to bolster.
The likes of Frenkie De Jong, Moises Caicedo and Adrien Rabiot have been linked with United - but Mount is now the main name in the frame amid his uncertain Chelsea future. The 24-year-old - who has made 195 appearances for the Blues - is also said to be a target for Liverpool.
Mount will be out of contract at Stamford Bridge next summer and caretaker boss Frank Lampard offered a blunt response in his latest pre-match press conference, when asked about the player's future. United's own takeover saga is one factor at play, along with incoming Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino - who is claimed to want Mount in his squad next season.
Negotiations between Mount and Chelsea have been ongoing since last summer and a resolution has not been found - with United now said to be his number-one destination in the event of an exit. A fee of £55million has been reported in the national media, with Liverpool providing the competition.
Here's what some United fans are saying about the latest rumour.
