Manchester United fans have cheekily called on Erik ten Hag to replace Cristiano Ronaldo with Harry Maguire after a video emerged of the England international showing off his skill during World Cup training.
The second and final part of Ronaldo's interview with Piers Morgan aired on Thursday night. Although there is now no more to be said by the United forward, the impact of his comments will no doubt be felt for quite some time.
The club are now potentially considering sacking Ronaldo for a possible breach of contract in the wake of his remarks. United released a statement on Friday saying that they have "initiated appropriate steps" following the conclusion of Ronaldo's interview with Morgan.

The former Real Madrid man claimed he had "no respect" for Erik ten Hag, while also criticising his former teammates and the current generation of youth players in a wide-ranging string of scathing statements. The 37-year-old, who is currently in Qatar for the World Cup, is looking to help his home nation of Portugal go as far in the competition as possible.
Gareth Southgate's England side will be hoping to make it one step further than their Euro 2020 heartbreak against Italy, as they prepare to face Iran for their tournament opener on Monday, November 21. Maguire has been included in the 26-man Three Lions squad, despite his relative lack of game time this season.
United's club captain is working hard in training to justify his inclusion and make his stake for a position in the starting XI against Iran. Footage of the former Leicester City man showing off his skills in training went viral on Saturday, as Maguire pulled off a stunning 'Zidane Roulette' before shifting his weight and firing off a shot on target.
As the clip emerged, United fans took to social media to send a tongue-in-cheek message to Ten Hag, as they found the perfect replacement for Ronaldo.
