Interim manager Ralf Rangnick has named his starting line-up for Manchester United's Premier League clash with Burnley at Turf Moor this evening, making a huge selection call.
United, who beat the Clarets 3-1 at Old Trafford just over a month ago, will be looking to get back on track following Friday evening's shock FA Cup exit at the hands of Championship side Middlesbrough.
After the contest finished 1-1 at the end of 120 minutes, United were beaten 8-7 on penalties, meaning they are now poised to focus all of their energy on trying to secure a top-four finish, although they are still alive and kicking in this season's Champions League.
Rangnick, who will be looking to guide United to a sixth successive win at Turf Moor this evening, has made two changes to the side that was beaten by Boro.
David de Gea and Edinson Cavani have come into the side, meaning Dean Henderson and Cristiano Ronaldo have dropped out.
Meanwhile, Victor Lindelof, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Elanga are amongst the substitutes.
Having made just two changes to his side, Rangnick will be hoping that it does not backfire, considering they come into the contest off the back of a defeat, even though a lack of composure in the final third was all that cost them, in truth, on Friday.
It is, unsurprisingly, Ronaldo's omission from the starting line-up that has attracted the most attention from United's supporters in the immediate aftermath of the team news being confirmed.
Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what some of United's supporters have had to say in response to Rangnick's decision to bench the Portuguese star.
As you can see from the messages displayed in the tweets above, Rangnick's decision to drop Ronaldo to the bench has attracted a mixed response, but more supporters appear to be pleased with the decision than not. They believe he could make an impact off the bench at some stage during the contest in a bid to get back amongst the goals.
United starting line-up: De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Shaw; Pogba, McTominay, Fernandes; Sancho, Cavani, Rashford.
Substitutes: Henderson, Jones, Lindelof, Wan-Bissaka, Lingard, Mata, Matic, Elanga, Ronaldo.
