Supporters are urging Ajax starlet Jurrien Timber to sign for Manchester United and have hijacked his latest Instagram post to outline that demand. Timber is a defensive target for United as they set about their much-needed rebuild under Erik ten Hag.
Despite several outgoings being confirmed, United are yet to strike up business of their own, but key figures in the boardroom - along with Ten Hag - have shaped up their shortlist. Timber, 20, is firmly on the radar alongside his Ajax teammate Antony.
United also want to sign Barcelona playmaker Frenkie de Jong and Christian Eriksen, who is available for no charge after his short-term deal at Brentford came to an end. Timber and Antony were both part of the title-winning team for Ajax last season, while their progress has been noted at Old Trafford and across Europe.

Recharging his batteries for the upcoming season, Timber uploaded several holiday pictures to his social media over the weekend and added the short caption: "Throwing rocks and counting blessings." It was quickly picked up on by United supporters as they urged him to move to United.
Talk of a transfer involving Timber has gone quiet in recent days amid the player's concerns a lack of game time at Old Trafford could see him miss out on Louis van Gaal's Netherlands squad for the World Cup in Qatar.
