Manchester United fans comparing youngster Shea Lacey to Lionel Messi after 'incredible' goal

Manchester United youngster Shea Lacey is being compared to Lionel Messi by the club's supporters after scoring another stunning goal while playing for the under-18s.

Lacey, 16, scored the sensational strike during United's 2-2 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the U18 Premier League. The winger picked up the ball wide on the right, dribbling towards two backtracking Wolves defenders before pulling off a stepover to up the tempo and drive towards the byline. Instead of crossing the ball, Lacey continued dribbling, leaving one opponent trailing in his wake before bursting past another while running parallel with the byline.

With only the Wolves goalkeeper to beat, the England youth international faked the shot-stopper out, leaving him stumbling on his line before Lacey lofted the ball past him and high into the net from an acute angle.
