Manchester United fans have been reacting to Axel Tuanzebe’s Instagram story, which shows the defender’s new and improved physique.
The centre-back endured a really tough 2021/22 season. After enduring limited game time while on loan at Aston Villa in the first half of the season, the 24-year-old was only handed 10 minutes of Serie A football during his temporary switch to Napoli during the second half.
He is one of a handful of in-contract United players expected to leave Old Trafford this summer. The defender has not played for his parent club since the Europa League final loss to Villarreal last year.

But it seems he has been using his time away from the pitch wisely. Tuanzebe shared an Instagram story from the gym on Monday which showed off his enhanced bulky physique.
United fans reacted to the social media update not long after it was shared, some comparing him to Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka. The German also packed on the muscle in a body transformation in a seemingly short space of time last year.
Meanwhile, others called for Tuanzebe to be given a shot under Erik ten Hag.
