Manchester United fans come to same conclusion after Hannibal Mejbri's latest Birmingham display

Manchester United fans have heaped praise on Hannibal Mejbri after the midfielder put in another fine performance that saw Birmingham City win 2-1 against Stoke.

The 19-year-old was included in United's pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia by Erik ten Hag, but after missing out on the first four games of the season he opted for a move to Birmingham on loan to continue his development at St Andrew's. Since joining the Blues, Hannibal has started six of the last seven Championship matches for the club under manager John Eustace.

Hannibal has impressed during his time away from Old Trafford, as the teenager registered his first assist in the Championship against high-flying QPR at the end of October. Eustace was full of praise for Hannibal following their 2-0 win against the West London side, as he singled out the Tunisian for his performance.

The Birmingham manager said: “Hanni [Hannibal] is a fantastic player, he plays on the edge and the personality he brings onto that pitch is something very special, so I’m certainly not going to change anything about that, he’ll get better with experience.

“I think that’s maybe his fourth game in a row at this level, so it’s all new challenges and experiences for him which he is doing brilliant at."

Hannibal has continued his fine run of form, as he provided his second assist in three games during his side's win over Stoke on Saturday. The United loanee sent in a deep corner that was met by defender Harlee Dean to head in at the far post to make it 2-0 just after the hour mark.

In blustery and wet conditions at Stoke's Bet365 Stadium, Hannibal took to social media to celebrate the win. Posting on Instagram, he wrote: "Despite the difficult weather, we managed to bring the 3 points! #KRO @bcfc."

United fans were quick to heap praise on Hannibal, as they lauded the youngster for the old cliche of being able to do it on a cold, wet night in Stoke.
