Harry Kane caught the eye of many Manchester United fans on Thursday night after becoming England's all-time top goalscorer.
The Tottenham Hotspur forward was handed the chance to surpass Wayne Rooney's 53 in the first-half of England's Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy, fittingly from the spot after missing a crucial spot-kick in the World Cup against France. But there was no such mistake with Gianluigi Donnarumma in front of him, the 29-year-old firing home to set himself above everybody else.
United are long-time admirers of Kane and the Spurs talisman has been earmarked by Erik ten Hag as a prime target this summer, with Victor Osimhen not far behind. The Dutchman had made adding a world-class striker to his squad the main priority ahead of next season as he builds a squad fit to push for both Premier League and Champions League trophies.

Those kinds of major trophies are exactly what Kane is missing, and the frontman has made no secret of his desire to end his career with major silverware to go with the individual honours. He became Spurs' all-time top scorer in February and is only 57 away from surpassing Alan Shearer as the Premier League's most prolific marksman.
But trophies are undoubtedly the main focus for Kane now, and after his England spot-kick set another record, United fans urged a move to Old Trafford for the next stage of his incredible career.
