On Sunday, they face Brighton which could be a true test of how much the Red Devils have actually improved. A win over Southampton was almost a guarantee, but the Seagulls have an excellent record against United.

Manchester United’s Poor Record Against Brighton
Brighton have a staggeringly good record against Manchester United on the football pitch in recent seasons.
The Seagulls have won seven of their 15 Premier League games against the country’s most successful domestic side. They have a win rate of 47% – the highest any side has over the Red Devils in the competition’s history.
They have also won five out of their last six games against Manchester United in the Premier League.
The last two times they have visited Old Trafford in the Premier League have ended in three points for Brighton.
A victory over a bogey-side like Brighton on Sunday, could stamp down that Manchester United are making progress under Ruben Amorim – even if regardless of the result, they will be in the bottom-half of the table by the end of the weekend.
