Manchester United 'eye' Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou and other transfer rumours

Manchester United are eager to sign Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou. according to reports.

David de Gea remains the undisputed number one at Old Trafford. However, with question marks surrounding Dean Henderson and his future, key figures responsible for incomings and outgoings might be pressed into making moves between the posts next season.

Manchester Evening News understands central midfield has been identified as a priority area to strengthen and the main target there is Declan Rice. That's despite notable concerns West Ham might dig their heels in over a valuation for the England international.

But the club may also be tempted to strengthen their goalkeeping department. It would cost around £25million to sign Bounou - known as Bono.

Highlighted as potential competition for De Gea moving forward, the Moroccan shot-stopper is reported to have Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund monitoring his situation. Tottenham and Newcastle are credited with further interest by the Mirror.

Barcelona are, meanwhile, set to revive their interest in Paul Pogba. He is gearing up to leave Old Trafford on a free transfer for the second time - a decade on from his initial move to Juventus.

A return to Turin is thought to be on the cards as Pogba heads into the final months of his contract. There seems to be plenty of competition for his signature, though, namely from Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

However, after landing a £235m sponsorship deal with Spotify, the Catalans have eased previous financial concerns and could be set to launch another approach for Pogba. That's according to a report in The Daily Star.
