Manchester United defender Raphael Varane has been forced to withdraw from the France squad following injury.
Varane, 29, was forced off after an hour of his country’s Nations League match against Denmark on Friday night after pulling up and clutching his left leg. The United defender was later seen receiving treatment on his hamstring as France lost 2-1.
Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate will replace Varane in the squad following his withdrawal, the first time he has ever received a senior international call-up.

It marks another setback for United defender Varane after a debut season in English football which saw him plagued by injuries throughout the campaign.
The former Real Madrid centre-back missed a total of 17 games across all competitions, nine of which came during a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a hamstring issue across November and December.
Early indications suggest Varane's latest injury is not a serious one and he might only need to spend a couple of weeks recovering before he is fit enough to play again.
His withdrawal from international duty means he will miss France's double-header against Croatia in the Nations League as well as their trip to face Ralf Rangnick's Austria side in the same competition next week.
Varane could be one of the first United players back at Carrington when pre-season begins on June 27 with those still involved on international duty due to be given a longer break before they return.
