Manchester United could have a fully fit squad to choose from for their Champions League round-of-16 second leg with Atletico Madrid.
Bruno Fernandes missed the 3-2 win over Tottenham on Saturday after testing positive for Covid-19 last week but is in contention to return for the Champions League tie against Atletico Madrid.
The Manchester Evening News revealed Fernandes had returned to United's Carrington training complex and Luke Shaw, who was also absent for the Tottenham win as well as the 4-1 thrashing by Manchester City with Covid, was at Carrington on Monday morning. Both players stayed on site after arriving.

Scott McTominay sat out the Spurs win with a calf problem but trained on Monday morning along with Fernandes, Shaw and the rest of the squad. United manager Ralf Rangnick suggested there was a 'small question mark' on Shaw's availability and he was flanked by Alex Telles for the pre-match press conference, possibly indicating the Brazilian would start at left-back.
"As it is right now we have all of the players available for tomorrow, there is a small question mark behind Luke Shaw. He has been training yesterday and today but we have to wait and see if he is fully fit to be available for the game. All the other players are back in training and available for tomorrow.
"Fernandes? He was tested yesterday, he tested negative and that's the reason why he could train today."
Fernandes' availability poses a dilemma for Rangnick, whose tactics came unstuck in the first leg when he started without defensive-minded midfielder McTominay or Nemanja Matic, who came on to great effect in the second-half.
United secured an uplifting three points against Tottenham in the Premier League with a 3-2 win on Saturday and Rangnick indicated changes would be at a minimum.
"I have to make that decision by tomorrow, so it's possible we have some new players in the starting XI," he added. "But there is not much reason to change too many positions. It's good to have everybody available, that's better than missing five or six players."
