Manchester United have confirmed Marcel Sabitzer will wear the No.15 shirt during his loan spell with the club.
Sabitzer, 28, joined United on a loan until the end of the season on deadline day and there is no option to make the deal permanent. The player was at Old Trafford to watch from the stands on Wednesday and he could make his debut against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Christian Eriksen sustained an ankle injury against Reading in the FA Cup last weekend and scans confirmed the player is set to be sidelined for up to four months, which led to the club scanning the loan market to offset his absence.

Sabitzer was identified as an ideal short-term solution and United moved swiftly to begin talks with Bayern Munich, which has seen the midfielder move to Old Trafford on loan until the end of the season to strengthen Erik ten hag's options.
It's now been confirmed that Sabizter will wear the No.15 shirt during his stay, which is a number he hasn't worn before in his career.
The last player to wear that shirt number at Old Trafford was Andreas Pereira and the Brazilian inherited the shirt from a line of players which include Adnan Januzaj, Nemanja Vidic, Kleberson, Luke Chadwick, Jesper Blomqvist and Karel Poborsky.
Sabitzer wrote on Instagram on Thursday morning: "Come on, Manchester United. I am looking forward to the opportunity to be part of this team. I would like to thank the officials at Manchester United for their trust in me.
"I am really excited to play in front of our passionate fans at Old Trafford and for this huge club with its big tradition. I am ready!
