Manchester United will be aiming to equal their very own Premier League record when they face Everton at Goodison Park this lunchtime, kick-off 12:30pm.
United, who were held to a 1-1 draw by the Toffees at Old Trafford back in October, will make the short trip to Merseyside looking to reignite their top-four charge after last Saturday's stalemate with Leicester City. As a result of that 1-1 draw, the Reds are now seventh in the table.
However, a win this lunchtime would move them on to level points with fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, ahead of the London outfit playing Aston Villa at teatime. And the omens certainly make good reading for the Reds.

That is because United have been triumphant against Everton on 37 separate occasions in the Premier League era, meaning they have only beaten one other opponent - Tottenham (38) - more times than any other club since the league was established in 1992. Therefore, a win for United against Frank Lampard's side will see them move level with that statistic and equal their own club record, as well as the Premier League record for one side beating another side the most times.
Everton, despite being beaten 3-2 by Burnley on Wednesday evening to move them even deeper into the thick of the relegation battle, are likely to boast a siege mentality this lunchtime. Clubs, more often than not, raise their game when facing United and they will be desperate to secure all three points.
But United interim manager Ralf Rangnick is focused on nothing more than his side trying to scoop all three points to keep their Champions League dream alive. United are in desperate need of a win after last weekend's setback.
"I think we spoke about that in recent press conferences, pre and post-match, that [this] happens in football, not only in England, also in other leagues, but for us again, it's about being aware of the current situation," said Rangnick, addressing the difference in positions between United and Everton.
"We still have a chance to qualify for the Champions League but in order to do that we need to win and we definitely need to win the game."
