Wolves are reportedly resigned to losing Manchester United-linked Ruben Neves this summer if a suitable offer comes in.
The midfielder has been repeatedly linked with a move to Old Trafford. United are keen to bolster their options in the centre of the park with Paul Pogba set to leave at the end of the season. However, it may not be an easy pursuit of the 25-year-old.
Neves has expressed a desire to play Champions League football, and Wolves would likely only allow him to leave for a top-four side. United were dealt a blow in their quest for Champions League qualification following a 1-1 draw with Leicester on Saturday.

The club are now seventh, only three points away from fourth-placed Tottenham, but have played one game more than Arsenal, who are only fifth on goal difference. Add in the fact a report from The Athletic, which reveals these latest Neves developments, says Barcelona are frontrunners for the Portugal international and the picture looks bleak.
A possible alternative to Neves could be Joao Moutinho, whose contract runs out this summer. The 35-year-old is not expected to pen a new deal at Molineux despite ongoing discussions.
Meanwhile, forgotten United man Andreas Pereira is facing an increasingly uncertain future with current loan club Flamengo. But it has now been claimed the reason why the Brazilian club are said to be giving up on signing the midfielder permanently is because of pressure from the board.
Previous reports said the club were reconsidering a move due to underwhelming performances despite having a £17m option-to-buy clause in the loan deal. Flamengo were keen on Pereira - whose United contract expires in June 2023 - but were only prepared to part with £8m.
Now the reason behind the potential collapse of a permanent deal has been revealed as a board decision, if reports in Brazilian media are to be believed. Flamengo were on the brink of triggering the clause after coming to a verbal agreement with the Old Trafford hierarchy but it instead looks like a deal won’t be struck until at least after his loan ends in June.
Some officials at the club are worried their reputation has been tarnished and it will be difficult to deal with United down the line, especially after paperwork had been swapped - and social media posts were ready to go - ahead of a transfer announcement.
