Marcus Rashford will not feature for England in their upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine after withdrawing from the squad due to injury.
The striker is thought to have picked up a knock in Manchester United’s 3-1 FA Cup quarter-final win over Fulham on Sunday, being substituted seven minutes from time. The 25-year-old had earlier received treatment after a knock in the build-up to Fulham's opener from Aleksandar Mitrovic five minutes after half-time.
Rashford has 51 caps for his country and was the joint-top scorer for England at the World Cup with both him and Bukayo Saka netting three times. He is also United’s top scorer this season with 27 goals to his name, one of which came on Thursday against Real Betis in the Europa League.

Rashford has been in remarkable form since the World Cup. He's converted 20 times in 26 outings since the mid-season break and so Erik ten Hag will hope the setback will not cause him to miss United's next match against Newcastle on April 2.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Mason Mount and Nick Pope of Newcastle have also withdrawn from the England squad, with only Tottenham goalkeeper Fraser Forster coming in. The FA says no more additions will be made for now. United duo Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw have made the cut for this week’s matches, as has Ten Hag's summer target Harry Kane.
England take on Italy away from home on Thursday before welcoming Ukraine to Wembley on Sunday afternoon. Malta and North Macedonia make up the rest of England’s qualification group, with the top two automatically qualifying for the tournament in Germany.
