Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford was on target once again on Thursday night as the Reds drew with top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
The England international grabbed his 29th goal of the campaign in all competitions to put United 2-0 up against Spurs. However, the London outfit scored twice in the second half to level proceedings. The result saw Erik ten Hag's side drop below Newcastle in the Premier League table, albeit with a game in hand over Eddie Howe's men.
Rashford has been in the best goalscoring form of this career this term, with his performances after the World Cup particularly helping him to climb the goalscoring charts. Across Europe's top-five leagues, only Manchester City ace Erling Haaland (49) and Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe (34) have scored more goals than the 25-year-old this season.

The academy graduate - who has also registered 11 assists - is now closing in on the 30-goal mark, which would make him the first United player since Robin van Persie in 2012/13 to score that many goals in a season. The former Netherlands international played a vital role in the Reds winning the league title in Sir Alex Ferguson's final campaign at Old Trafford.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Bruno Fernandes both went close to matching Van Persie's goal tally, with the Swedish striker and Portuguese ace each scoring 28 times in the 2016/17 season and 2020/21 campaign respectively.
With eight games remaining this term, Rashford will be expecting to score the two goals needed to take him past the 30 goals Van Persie scored when United last won the league. Ten Hag's men have seven matches left in the Premier League before the FA Cup final in June.
He will be aiming to get on the scoresheet against Aston Villa at the weekend, but failing that, he will have another chance against Brighton next Thursday. Should the England international manage the feat, he will become the first player since Wayne Rooney in 2011/12 (34 goals) to score more than 30 goals in a season for United.
