Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has opened up on his relationship with Erik ten Hag and praised the impact of Antony since his arrival at the club.
The Argentina international arrived at Old Trafford from Ajax in the summer transfer window, with Brazilian winger Antony also joining United from the Dutch giants.
Martinez has made eight appearances for Ten Hag's side so far this season - starting for the Reds on seven occasions. After coming under criticism for his performance in the 4-0 defeat to Brentford in August, the 24-year-old has performed consistently well at the heart of defence in recent weeks.

He has formed a solid partnership with Raphael Varane, with the pair keeping club captain Harry Maguire on the bench so far this campaign. Martinez made 128 appearances under Ten Hag during the latter's Ajax reign, and the defender has admitted that he knows exactly how the United boss wants to play football.
"I know him very well, I know what he wants, his mentality, his style. I played with him for three years at Ajax and now it's good to be with him at this amazing club. We keep working hard and now we are ready for the big games," Martinez told United's in-house media.
The 24-year-old also discussed teammate Antony's impact since his summer switch from the Eredivisie giants. "Antony's a fighter, he has a lot of quality. One against one, his finish, his mentality, he can bring a lot of things to the team," he added. "You can see from the first game."
