Manchester United 2022/23 away kit 'leaked' online after Cristiano Ronaldo image

Fresh images of what appear to be Manchester United's away shirt for next season have been 'leaked' online.

Earlier this month, a series of pixilated images appeared on The United Stand Twitter page, showing Cristiano Ronaldo donning the possible new away strip for next term. They appeared to be leaked images from the club's promotional shoot for the new strip, with the Portuguese star being joined by Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Anthony Elanga and Jadon Sancho in posing for shots in the new shirt.

Now, following a fresh report by Footy Headlines, it appears as though those initial links might well be correct, with more images being shared of United's white away shirt for next term. While the shirt looks set to be white, the shorts will be black and the socks white.

The shirt is a throwback to the club's away strip for the 2015/16 campaign, as well as being similar to their third kit from 2009/10 to 2011/12. Unlike those shirts, however, the club crest looks set to be displayed on a black shield background — similar to the famous 1998/99 away shirt.

The main sponsor, which is TeamViewer, and Adidas logo also set to be emblazoned in black on the front of the shirt in their usual positions. Furthermore, just like in the images leaked earlier this month, DXC Technology look set to become their new sleeve sponsor, with their logo placed on the left sleeve.

DXC Technology are an American multinational information technology services and consulting company with headquarters in Ashburn, Virginia. They do not currently sponsor any other football club.

Details of the new home and away strips are poised to be announced by United in due course.
