With Valentine’s Day just weeks away, Canadian fast food brand Tim Hortons are spreading the love by slashing the price of their deluxe doughnuts to just £1. And with a brand in the heart of the city centre, it’s the perfect pitstop after a spot of shopping in the Arndale.
However, their tasty treats won’t automatically be discounted at the till - shoppers will need to place a specific order to be able to access the discount.
Customers wanting to snag the bargain will have to place an order for one of the brand's six brand-new indulgent beverages in two wild flavours, adding the sweet treat for an extra quid.
Launching across a range of drinks and as part of the brand’s freshly baked Deluxe doughnut range are Banoffee and Red Velvet treats, which will be available in the form of lattes, shakes and hot chocolates.
The new limited-edition beverages include:
Banoffee French Vanilla: The iconic French Vanilla with a twist, made with banana and sweet toffee syrup, topped with whipped cream and biscuit crumb
Banoffee French Vanilla Latte: The iconic French Vanilla Latte with a twist, made with banana and sweet toffee syrup, an espresso shot, topped with whipped cream and biscuit crumb
Banoffee Latte: The classic Tim Hortons® latte with banana and sweet toffee syrup
Iced Banoffee Latte: served over ice and made with delicious banana and sweet toffee syrup
Tims Shake Banoffee: A delicious banana and toffee shake topped with whipped cream and biscuit crumb
Red Velvet Hot Chocolate: The famous hot chocolate with a strawberry twist, topped with whipped cream and red velvet crumb
Those looking for an indulgent treat can create the ‘Perfect Pairing’ by selecting one of the new Banoffee or Red Velvet beverages and getting any deluxe doughnut to enjoy with it for just £1 extra, saving £2.29 on their order.
The new doughnuts include a Banoffee Pie doughnut, filled with custard and topped with maple fondant, banoffee fudge and biscuit crumb, while the Red Velvet Cheesecake doughnut is filled with chocolate and topped with cheesecake frosting, red velvet crumb and chocolate sauce.
But you don’t have to order the new doughnuts if something else takes your fancy. All of the Classics Deluxe Doughnut flavours are included in the offer, such as the Chocolate Brownie, Caramel Maple and Caramel Apple Fritter.
