Manchester Derby player ratings as Bernardo Silva shines while David de Gea flops

Manchester City took a giant stride towards retaining the Premier League title with a victory over rivals United at Old Trafford.

United frustrated Pep Guardiola's men during the first half but City were too strong after the break.

Bernardo Silva opened the scoring as he deceived David de Gea by firing in at the near post.

Leroy Sane got City's second from the bench with De Gea failing to cover himself in glory.

The victory means City are now just three wins away from retaining their crown.

Darmian 4 - First game in three months and showed with lack of sharpness.

Smalling 4 - Nearly diverted ball into his own net early on. Unconvincing throughout.
