Manchester City XI vs Peterborough: Confirmed starting lineup, team news and injury latest for FA Cup today

Oleksandr Zinchenko will play for Manchester City against Peterborough in the FA Cup fifth-round after being named in the starting XI.

The Ukraine international was on the bench for Saturday’s Premier League win over Everton and will play his first game since his homeland was invaded by Russia.

Guardiola, speaking ahead of the trip to London Road, talked of how he felt appearing for City would be good for the 25-year-old.

“I think it will be good for him and to show that the reason why he is here is because he is a magnificent player,” said the City boss.

Elsewhere, usual cup goalkeeper Zack Steffen is still missing with a shoulder injury and the fact young players such as Liam Delap, James McAtee and Kayky played in an Under-23 game on Monday night - and do not feature against Posh.

Jack Grealish and Gabriel Jesus also complete their returns by starting, after coming off the bench at Goodison Park.

Manchester City XI: Ederson; Cancelo, Dias, Ake, Zinchenko; Fernandinho, Gundogan, Foden; Grealish, Mahrez, Jesus.

Subs: Carson, Slicker, Stones, Sterling, Laporte, Rodrigo, De Bruyne, Bernardo.

Injured: Steffen (shoulder)
