Man City XI vs Leicester: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Premier League game today

Manchester City are free of any fresh injury concerns heading into tonight’s game against Leicester, with three changes made by Pep Guardiola.

The Premier League champions could cut the gap to leaders Arsenal to just three points in the title race with a win at the Etihad Stadium and have almost a clean bill of health.

Phil Foden is believed to be close to making a comeback following surgery for appendicitis but the visit of the struggling Foxes comes too soon for the England attacker.

Kevin De Bruyne appeared to react angrily to his substitution against Bayern Munich in the Champions League in midweek but the Belgian starts here - and captains the team - with the title run-in now so close.

Star striker Erling Haaland reached 30 League goals against Southampton and will be confident of breaking more records as he leads the line once more.

Andy Cole and Alan Shearer both hit 34 in 1994-95 but the Norway international is edging ever closer to making more history.

Guardiola now appears to have a settled system, though Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake make way for Aymeric Laporte and Kyle Walker in defence and Ilkay Gundogan is also replaced by Riyad Mahrez.

Man City starting XI: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Dias, Laporte, Rodri, De Bruyne (c), Bernardo, Mahrez, Grealish, Haaland

Subs: Ortega Moreno, Phillips, Ake, Gundogan, Alvarez, Gomez, Akanji, Palmer, Lewis
