Manchester City Women's Football: Ticket prices, upcoming fixtures and where they play

England's Lionesses finally brought football home at the weekend after a triumphant 2-1 defeat over Germany at Wembley. After Lucy Bronze's header led to a scramble in the box, it was Manchester City's Chloe Kelly who desperately jabbed it over the line to secure the lead.

The City Women's team shares a fair few other players with England's pride of Lionesses. Their captain is none other than World Cup captain Steph Houghton, who had to sit out of this year's tournament and has not played since January because of an Achilles injury.

There were six Manchester City players who join the starting 11 of the national side at the Euros - Alex Greenwood, Demi Stokes, Keira Walsh, Chloe Kelly, Lauren Hemp and Ellen White. If you've developed a taste for women's football and want to go and watch, here are all the details.

Where can I watch the Manchester City Women's team play?

The senior women's team plays out of Academy Stadium in Manchester. The stadium is part of the Etihad's expansive training campus and it has the capacity to hold 7,000 spectators and is linked directly to the Etihad stadium via a bridge.

When can I watch the Manchester City Women's team play?

The Barclays Women’s Super League gets underway on September 10 and City will play their opening match on the 11th. They face off against last season's runners-up Arsenal with a 7pm kick-off.

City then have two away games at Aston Villa and against defending champions Chelsea on the 18th and 25th before returning home to face Leicester City on the 16th of October. City's derby match against United on December 11th will be one to catch, as the women take over the Etihad Stadium.

How can I get tickets to watch Manchester City Women?

Tickets for the whole of the Super League season are available now, though some games are selling out quickly. They start at just £11 for most games, with hospitality upgrades available, here.
