Manchester City have handed a start to Gabriel Jesus as they welcome rivals Liverpool today in what could be a Premier League title decider, who have gone for Diogo Jota over Luis Diaz in their attack.
Jesus has not started a Premier League game since January but has been picked by Pep Guardiola along with Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling in City’s forward line, with Riyad Mahrez and Jack Grealish missing out.
Jurgen Klopp has selected Jota alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in Liverpool’s front three as Diaz drops to the bench despite his performance and goal against Benfica in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Jordan Henderson and Thiago start alongside Fabinho in midfield while Joel Matip returns to the defence in place of Ibrahima Konate. Ruben Dias remains out for City and Kyle Walker returns at right back, with Jaoa Cancelo swapping to left back.

Prediction
Manchester City have such a good record when scoring first and it feels like an opening goal for the hosts could be decisive, unlike when Liverpool took the lead twice at Anfield earlier this season. Kevin De Bruyne is the in-form City player but for Liverpool the return of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who missed the reverse fixture, could be key. We could be set for a thriller decided by attacking brilliance. Manchester City 2-2 Liverpool
