Manchester City host Liverpool tonight as the fourth round of the Carabao Cup comes to an end.
Seven teams have booked their place in the quarter-finals already, Charlton the only non-Premier League side among them, and regardless of the result at the Etihad it will be a side with strong history in the competition joining those already in the draw.
Liverpool are the defending champions after beating Chelsea in the final last season, though a much-changed Reds side needed penalties to edge past third-tier Derby in the third round before the World Cup break.

Man City meanwhile won the Carabao Cup for four years on the bounce before that run was ended in the fourth round by West Ham last season.
Neither side will be at full strength so soon after the World Cup, but it is nearly always entertaining when these two heavyweight rivals face each other.
