Manchester City are said to be "very interested" in Boca Juniors duo Valentin Barco and Exequiel Zeballos.
The Blues are no strangers to the South American market and recently secured the signing of River Plate star Julian Alvarez.
He'll join fellow South American export Kayky at the Etihad Stadium. The 18-year-old is beginning to make waves in the City first-team set-up and was included in the squad that travelled to Sporting Lisbon for their Champions League tie on Tuesday.
City are now said to be eyeing both Barco and Zeballos from Boca Juniors with the former, a 17-year-old left-back, said to be of particular interest to the recruitment team.

Zeballos is a 19-year-old winger who has also been linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.
A report by Sebastian Infanzon states City are exploring the possibility of buying the pair before loaning them back to their current club until December - similar to the way they allowed Alvarez to return to River after he completed his deadline day move.
Meanwhile, options are being explored in order to keep Blues stalwart Fernandinho at the club.
The National News report that the Premier League champions are keen to keep the Brazilian at the club beyond this season, whether it be in a playing or coaching role.
Fernandinho has amassed over 350 appearances for the club since moving to City in 2013.
