Manchester City are set to test Leeds United's resolve with a reported offer incoming for Kalvin Phillips after the international break. Phillips was injured in England's draw in Germany in midweek, however the injury is not believed to be too serious.
While many at Leeds are still hopeful about Phillips signing a new contract to remain at Elland Road in the long term, there is the real prospect that he could leave to join Premier League champions, Manchester City. Pep Guardiola is said to see the England midfielder as the perfect replacement for the departing Fernandinho.
And this morning, the Daily Mail have reported that City will ramp up their interest in the coming days with a potential offer inbound.

The aforementioned Fernandinho has long been a City stalwart in midfield, and Phillips could walk into a starting role with the Premier League champions on a higher wage scale - something that would be difficult to turn down.
The Mail suggests that City have identified Phillips as the man to take over from the Brazilian, with a potential bid around the £60 million mark incoming.
Leeds have gotten their summer off to a fast start, signing Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen from Red Bull Salzburg, but losing Phillips would be a seismic blow to their squad.
