The shutters have been flung open on the hundreds of wooden huts now lining the city's streets, and the are officially underway.
With sites spreading right across the city centre - including a new location at Piccadilly Gardens - the annual festivities attract thousands of visitors to Manchester every year.
A topic on everyone's lips each year when the markets open is how much food and drink is going to cost you, and if there are any bargains to be found.
We've once again scoped out the main stalls across the city to check out how much beer, mulled wine and bratwurst will set you back.
Don't forget to factor in the £3 deposit for the Christmas Markets mug - you can return the mug to get your money back, or take it home as a souvenir.
If you're planning a trip to the markets this year, click the link below for everything you need to know before you go.
